Easy Lunchbox System Giveaway

We are a family of "brown baggers." Who can afford not to be in this economy? Every night I pack our lunches for the next day to save time in the morning. I use just cheap "throw away" tupperware and lots of sandwich bags. The Easy Lunch Box System is an economical and "earth friendly" way  to pack healthy lunches for all members of our family.

The Easy Lunch Box System includes a lunch box (available in 5 colors) and a set of four compartmentalized storage containers. The Easy Lunch box is made out of non-vinyl products. They are roomy enough to hold the Easy Lunch box storage container, ice pack, drink and a few snack. I also like that they have a grommet on the handle that makes personalizing each bag easier...also looks better than writing our names on them in permanent marker. The Easy Lunch box storage containers come in a four pack with four different colored lids. They are made out of non-toxic, food-safe, polypropylene (PP or plastic #5), BPA-free lunch boxes, and phthalate-free. They are freezable, microwave and dishwasher safe. These storage containers make organizing meals easier and with less containers.

I truly love my Easy Lunch box. Although, I've had some issues with the containers. The lids to my containers don't seem to fit securely. The lids come off easily and have caused spillage in the lunch box. I'm not putting liquid foods in them and they were washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Perhaps they would have worked better if they were hand washed. The two side compartments seem small to me for adult servings but work great if your just packing some sliced fruit or granola. All in all the Easy Lunch box System is easy to use, affordable, and helps save time and money. Here are some healthy lunch ideas they had listed on their website below:

Buy It: The Easy Lunch Box containers (4 pack) is available of $13.95 and the lunch box can be purchased for $7.95.

Win It: Easy Lunch Boxes is giving away their complete Easy Lunch Box System to one of my followers! Just leave me a comment and tell me what you do to help save time and money when it comes to meal preparation.

Menu planning helps us save money and time because we don't have unexpected shopping trips and we use leftovers quite well.

I'm single, so when I make a meal I have to eat the entire thing. I still like to double my recipes and freeze individual servings though. This way I can just pop them in a bag in the morning and by lunch I can have a delicious, home-cooked meal very quickly.

We tend to buy things in bulk, and always prep the night before to save time in the mornings. That way, we just put everything into the cooler at the start of the day for daycare. Thank you! ceevegnashville [at] gmail [dot] com

I save money by considering what is on sale when choosing my groceries, and using coupons... whenever I remember to bring them with me. :-) I save time by making large dinners that we can take for lunch the next day, and I pack the leftovers directly into separate containers so we can just grab them and go in the morning.

Our schedules being a little rough these days, we end up eating out a lot, but we know where the specials are and seek out coupons online. Unless I order a pretty light meal, I pack up part of it to bring home for a lunch later in the week.

To save time I try to chop as much of the produce as I can for a few days. That way it is easy to just scoop out fruit salad, grab a salad for lunch, or grab a handful of cut up veggies to put in my son's lunch. To save money, I grow a garden and freeze as much as I can from my veggie garden for the winter!
