I love organic cotton clothes and linens! My favorite set of sheets are made of organic cotton and I just love the way they feel on my skin. Organic cotton is safe to wear and free of toxins found in regular cotton harvest. Happy Green Bee sells a wonderful selection of baby and kids organic clothing and at a reasonable price. I recently was able to try out an outfit from Happy Green Bee, an organic kids clothing line, the pumpkin/butterscotch skort and radish bean shirt (shown below). This outfit is so adorable and colorful. The colors are so vibrant and I haven't found them to fade with washing. The soft stretching and gender-free colors and outfits are wonderful and make excellent gifts. I love the chemise top with legging and the matching blanket!

" If you've read any of my previous posts on chemical exposures you'd remember the risks involved with long term exposure to such toxic chemicals can lead to increased risks of certain cancers and birth defects. Pesticide and chemically-treated clothing traps heat and prevents skin from absorbing adequate moisture often causing rashes and eczema on sensitive skin. Whereas, organic cotton is natural and breathable. Children with allergies particularly benefit, as organic cotton does not have the residual toxic residues that linger on conventional cotton. Organic cotton is grown in soil free of herbicides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers which in turn is healthier for us and the planet.
